This is the name of the project launched by Mar\u00eda Larroca<\/strong>, who used to work in the administrative side of TV, that transforms her passion for flamenco<\/strong> into an entrepreneurial adventure. Maria\u2019s idea is to enable tourists to experience\u00a0real, authentic flamenco<\/strong>, which isn’t always what we see at tablaos<\/em>\u00a0and typical flamenco venues.<\/p>\n

Vive la pasi\u00f3n flamenca<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0<\/strong>offers different options. If you fancy the VPF Experience, <\/strong>all you have to do is phone or send an email <\/a>(you can do so in English if you don’t speak Spanish) with your details and the date of your visit to Madrid.\u00a0Maria<\/strong>\u00a0will find a show that meets your needs<\/strong> and will manage the booking so that all you have to do is make your way to the venue and enjoy the performance.<\/p>\n

For those looking for a special, exclusive experience<\/strong>,\u00a0Maria<\/strong>\u00a0has created the VPF Studio Experience (VIP)<\/strong>\u00a0and the VPF Family Experience (VIP)<\/strong>. The first offers you the chance to witness the live\u00a0recording of a flamenco album<\/strong>\u00a0at Spain’s top recording studio run by producer and singer-songwriter Paco Ortega<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

I myself enjoyed a unique flamenco evening<\/strong>\u00a0thanks to\u00a0Maria<\/strong>,\u00a0and have experienced firsthand this one-of-a-kind project in Madrid. We went to Teatro Fern\u00e1n G\u00f3mez<\/strong> to see\u00a0Quijote Flamenco 2015<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0by\u00a0Vicente Soto \u201cSordera\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0(accompanied by guitarist\u00a0Miguel Salado<\/strong>, pianist\u00a0Carlos Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong>, drummer\u00a0Manu Soto<\/strong>,\u00a0and Lely Soto <\/strong>and Lela Agarrado <\/strong>on backing vocals). But the experience didn’t end there: we went backstage to the dressing rooms, spoke with Vicente and the other performers, got our picture taken with them, etc. And, just when I thought there were no more surprises, I was given a signed copy of the cantaor’s<\/em> album\u00a0Colores Distintos<\/em>!<\/strong><\/p>\n
