While last year 19,000 revellers rampaged across 7 nights, numbers are expected to grow even further in 2015.<\/p>\n

With Madrid playing host to one of the worlds biggest Pride events over summer, the successful evolution of the New Years\u2019 Festival makes it the world\u2019s first \u201ctwo-pride town\u201d \u2013 a title that only a tolerant, fun-loving city like Madrid could pull of. The Basics<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>– With the festivities set to begin on Sunday the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0December and end on Saturday the 2nd<\/sup>\u00a0January you\u2019ll need to prepare yourself for an entire week of party<\/strong> perseverance.<\/p>\n

– There are 7 parties<\/strong> in total; some are in higher demand than others. To avoid the long lines, potential sell-outs, and any extra hassles, make sure you get yourself the all-inclusive bracelet or \u201cpulsera.\u201d<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

– Transport<\/strong> in Madrid is a breeze. Most of the venues are in the inner city so you can probably walk from your hotel. However, if you\u2019re heading to any of the parties at La Riviera venue you should take a taxi.<\/p>\n

– Worried about your Spanish<\/strong>? Don\u2019t be. Last year 71% of the party crowd were foreigners<\/strong>. Although, if you\u2019re hoping to charm one of the Spanish guys, it might help to learn a few phrases.<\/p>\n

The Party Venues<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Sunday the 27<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>: WE x Matinee at Sala But<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Joining forces with Barcelona party power house Matinee Group, the first party will take place in the Sala But; the subterranean club<\/strong> below the beautiful art deco home to Madrid\u2019s Pacha. It\u2019s located just a few steps from Metro Tribunal alongside the Malasa\u00f1a<\/strong> district.<\/p>\n

Monday the 28<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>: WE x XCLSIOR at Joy Eslava<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>One of Madrid\u2019s most beautiful nightlife venues dates all the way back to 1871 when it was inaugurated as a theatre<\/strong>. It became a nightclub in 1981 and quickly established itself as one of the most mythical places to party. For the second party on the calendar the WE Party joins forces with Mykonos\u2019 XCLSIOR<\/strong>. This is as central as venues get, just a short walk from the Sol metro station.<\/p>\n

Tuesday the 29<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>: WE x FOREVER Tel Aviv at Teatro Kapital<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>The multilevel nightclub Kapital hosts Tuesday night\u2019s spectacular<\/strong> in conjunction with the forces behind Tel Aviv\u2019s Forever. Located a few steps from the Atocha metro station the added bonus of this seven-storey megalith is a rooftop terrace<\/strong> \u2013 a bonus if you\u2019re a smoker.<\/p>\n

Wednesday the 30<\/strong>th<\/sup><\/strong>: WE x BEYOND at Sala But<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

Head back to the Sala But on Wednesday where the WE groups together with London\u2019s BEYOND to warm up your engines one night before new year\u2019s eve. It\u2019s located near the Tribunal metro station and if you feel like a gay-friendly drink<\/strong> beforehand, the Chueca<\/strong> district is only a few minutes walk away.<\/p>\n

Thursday the 31<\/strong>st<\/sup><\/strong>: NYE at La Riviera<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>La Riviera lights up on the most anticipated night with a massive party brimming with beats, dancers<\/strong>, and on-stage action. Don\u2019t be surprised if the Spanish guests rock up late; in Spain tradition dictates spending the countdown with close friends and family to eat 12 grapes<\/strong> as the clock strikes twelve. Thankfully, once they do arrive, their genetic stamina will energise the dance floor right until the music grinds to a halt. To get to La Riviera, which is located down by the Manzanares river<\/strong> (be warned: this makes it one of the coldest spots in the city), a short taxi ride is recommended.<\/p>\n

Friday the 1<\/strong>st<\/sup><\/strong>: WE NYD at La Riviera<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>This is one of the most popular and mixed-crowd parties<\/strong> on the billing. The city has a penchant for partying, which makes any event on the 1st<\/sup> a hot ticket \u2013 especially for those who didn\u2019t get enough on NYE. This event starts much earlier than the rest so don\u2019t be afraid to rock up way before the other parties. Transport advice: catch a taxi.<\/p>\n

Saturday the 2<\/strong>nd<\/sup><\/strong>: WE x Papa Party at La Riviera<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n

For those of you left standing, comes the third of the La Riviera trifecta and the final party of the week<\/strong>. In collaboration with the Papa Party from Israeli international party magnate Eliad Cohen this party promises to be a lot of fun \u2013 because that\u2019s what the Papa Party brand is all about. Even though you may have spent the whole week dancing, this party falls on a Saturday night, and in a city like Madrid, staying in for the night on a Saturday is sacrilege.<\/p>\n
