On the menu, you\u2019ll find roasted artichokes topped with Manchego cheese, stewed calamari and caramelised onion, grilled Iberian pork shoulder with baby broccoli&#8230; and wonderful cocktails. At the very top, on its 27th floor, you\u2019ll find this terrace bar with 360\u00ba views of practically the whole of Madrid. In the foreground, there\u2019s the Temple of Debod, Casa de Campo Park, the Royal Palace, the Telef\u00f3nica building and Gran V\u00eda avenue. In the background, the view seems to go on forever! Domes and rooftops, green spaces&#8230; An entire map unfolds before our eyes. It doesn\u2019t have a restaurant (although they serve a few nibbles to go with the drinks), but what it does have is a walkway with a <strong>glass floor<\/strong> that\u2019s not for the faint of heart. Gran V\u00eda is right below it. Very, very far below. A statue of her crowns the building. Although you can have dinner at El Pabell\u00f3n, now that summer has arrived it\u2019s tempting to enjoy <strong>La Terraza<\/strong>, tucked amidst the treetops and next to the building&#8217;s iconic dome, built by King Ferdinand VII. The magical sunsets combine to perfection with the fresh cuisine (salads, salmon tacos, mini burgers, fried calamari with citrus mayonnaise, etc.) and the varied range of cocktails.
